# Legal AI pricing: every RuleX plan, in every country, on one page

*Alejandro Cárdenas · October 31, 2026*

RuleX publishes every price. Student, Pro and Ultra are sold in twenty countries, each with its own published price: in the United States they cost $29.90, $39.90 and $69.90 a month, in Spain EUR 24.90, EUR 32.90 and EUR 57.90, in Colombia COP 30,000, COP 40,000 and COP 70,000. Six months cost five monthly payments and a year costs nine. Every plan includes the Drafter with Word and PDF export, Excel and slide files from the chat, Projects and Apps. The seven-day free trial starts with an email address and no card.

The price of RuleX is on this page, for twenty countries, and the checkout charges the same figure. Below you will find the full table, what each plan includes, how the trial works, what a month of RuleX costs next to an hour of your own time, and what other legal AI vendors publish about their prices.

## RuleX puts its price, its sign-up and its trial on one page, in every market where it is sold.

Student at $29.90, Pro at $39.90 (named Standard in the United States) and Ultra at $69.90: the same three plans in twenty countries, each with its price published for the market, each with a seven-day trial that needs no card. The figures in the table come from the catalog the checkout reads, so the number you budget is the number you pay.

## How to buy RuleX in four moves

The purchase follows the work. You see the product on your own matter first and pick the plan second.

1. **Open the trial with an email address.** 7 days, no card. The whole workspace opens: the assistant, the Drafter, matters, e-signature, transcription. Your own sign-up is the entire onboarding.
2. **Run one real matter through it.** Load up to twenty files, ask a question you can check, draft the document you owe this week and export it to Word. The trial answers the question a demo cannot: how much of your own work comes back done.
3. **Pick the plan that matches your day.** Student fits first matters and clinic work. Pro fits a daily practice and adds e-signature, transcription and billable hours. Ultra fits heavy volume: 50 In depth answers a day, 50 GB of case storage and 20 transcriptions a day.
4. **Choose the term.** Monthly renews each month and cancels from your account. Six months cost five payments, one month free. A year costs nine payments, three months free. In the United States, $39.90 a month becomes $359.10 for twelve months, $29.93 a month.

## A two-attorney firm prices its first year

Illustration. Two attorneys at a litigation boutique each take Standard. At the monthly price that is $79.80 a month for both. On the twelve-month term it is $718.20 for the year, nine payments instead of twelve. If they assume an hour of attorney time is worth $200, the monthly total equals 24 minutes of that time, and the assumed rate is theirs to replace.

- Monthly total for two Standard plans: $79.80.
- Twelve-month total for two Standard plans: $718.20, which is $59.85 a month.
- Break-even at an assumed $200 an hour: 24 minutes a month for the pair.
- Enterprise is added later, in a conversation, when the firm wants clients, roles and billing statements in the same workspace.

## What each plan includes

Every plan includes the Drafter and its Canvas with export to Word and PDF, Excel and slide files from the chat, Projects and Apps, the Deadline calculator, the Calendar and RuleX Academy. The plans differ in how much daily work they carry and in the professional tools they add.

Student ($29.90 in the United States) carries essential daily use, 5 In depth answers a day and 1 GB of case storage. It is the entry plan for clinic work and first matters, and it is open to anyone.

Pro, named Standard in the United States ($39.90), carries broad daily use, 15 In depth answers a day and 5 GB of storage. It adds e-signature for 2 documents a day, transcription of 5 recordings a day, and billable hours.

Ultra ($69.90) carries the highest daily use, 50 In depth answers a day and 50 GB of storage. It adds e-signature with no daily cap, 20 transcriptions a day, assisted setup for complex matters, a direct WhatsApp line and early access to new features.

In Colombia the plans also set how many cases the nightly court monitoring watches, 5, 40 and no cap, and Pro and Ultra open the SECOP procurement database.

## RuleX's published price next to what other vendors publish

Vendors handle price in different ways. Harvey's site sends pricing questions to "Request a Demo" (harvey.ai, read 29 October 2026), and Legora's site says "Book a demo" (legora.com, 29 October 2026). Luminance, Hebbia, Eudia, Ivo and DeepJudge also lead with a demo request on their own sites, read on 29 and 30 October 2026.

Several vendors publish a price or a trial. Thomson Reuters lists online pricing for CoCounsel for law firms of up to ten attorneys and a free-trial request (legal.thomsonreuters.com, 30 October 2026). Clio and vLex list plans from EUR 109 per user (Clio Manage Signature) and a free trial for Clio Work (vlex.es/pricing, 30 October 2026); Clio launched Clio Work at USD 199 per user per month in October 2025 and has sold it on its own to solo and small firms since April 2026 (LawNext, 21 April 2026). Paxton lists its Individual plan at USD 499 per user per month or USD 2,999 per user per year, with a seven-day trial (paxton.ai/pricing, 29 October 2026). GC AI lists plans from USD 500 a month for an individual seat, with a free trial (gc.ai, 30 October 2026). Spellbook offers a seven-day trial and prices by team size, quoted on request (spellbook.com/pricing, 29 October 2026).

What RuleX brings together is the combination: a price published in each of its twenty markets, online sign-up with an email address, seven days without a card, an interface in Spanish in 18 countries, in Portuguese in Brazil and in English in the United States, and the path from case file to draft to Word in one workspace.

Set side by side, the monthly list prices are plain arithmetic: Paxton's Individual plan is about 12.5 times RuleX Standard in the United States ($499 against $39.90), and GC AI's starting price is about the same multiple. The products differ in scope, so read the figures as list prices on the day each page was read. This page quotes only prices the vendors list themselves.

## One hour of your time next to one month of RuleX

The arithmetic is simple and you can rerun it with your own rate: minutes to break even = monthly price ÷ hourly value × 60. The hourly values below are assumptions chosen for illustration.

At an assumed $150 an hour, Standard's $39.90 equals 16 minutes of work and Ultra's $69.90 equals 28 minutes. At an assumed $300 an hour, the figures are 8 and 14 minutes.

If RuleX returns one hour in a month, a first draft that arrives structured or a chronology that was already built, then at $150 an hour that hour is worth 3.8 times the Standard price. The trial exists to measure that hour on your own matters before you spend anything.

## Monthly, six months or a year

The monthly plan renews each month and cancels from your account, with no long-term contract. Six months cost five monthly payments and a year costs nine, so the long terms carry one and three months free.

The long terms bill in two ways. In Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Panama they are single payments that end when the term ends. In the United States, Spain, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua they are subscriptions that renew at the end of the term and cancel from your account. Colombia accepts cards, PSE, Nequi and Botón Bancolombia for the long terms, and the monthly plan bills to a card. Venezuela pays the Colombian peso price.

## Enterprise: clients, roles and billing for a firm

Enterprise adds the operation of a team to everything a lawyer has in Pro: a client directory (CRM), team reports and workload, users with roles and permissions, teams and tasks per matter, billable hours and billing statements (cuentas de cobro). It has no list price because it is arranged in a conversation with the RuleX team, through the contact page.

## Prices by country, as each checkout charges them

Monthly prices for the three plans, plus Pro for six months and for a year. Every row is read from the checkout catalog.
