Refund Policy / Refund Policy
Purchases processed by Paddle · Last updated: September 1, 2026
Summary
RuleX purchases processed by Paddle are governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may grant discretionary refunds under its policy, and mandatory legal rights are always respected.
1. Scope and Applicable Rules
This policy applies to RuleX transactions completed through Paddle. Paddle acts as an authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, and manages payment collection, applicable taxes, and refund processing. BESIMPLER S.A.S.RuleX operates and provides the product.
The Paddle Buyer Termsand the Paddle Refund Policyform part of the applicable terms. In the event of an inconsistency, Paddle’s terms prevail. Consumer protection laws and other non-waivable rights in the country of purchase prevail over any contractual policy.
2. Global Refund Policy
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, all transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may issue a discretionary refund or a refund when the buyer exercises an applicable statutory right of withdrawal or refund.
No refunds will be issued where there is evidence of fraud, abuse of the refund mechanism, or other manipulative conduct. This rule does not affect consumer rights where the product does not correspond to its description, is defective, or is not fit for its purpose. If a refund is granted, access to the corresponding product will cease.
3. Rules by Country
Local rules granting unconditional withdrawal rights apply and prevail over this policy. Paddle publishes, among others, the following rules:
- European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom: Consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for certain digital content and services contracts. It applies to one-time purchases and the first payment of a subscription; the scope of that right and its exceptions are governed by Paddle’s policy and applicable law.
- Turkey and Israel: 14 days for applicable statutory rights.
- Brazil, China, and South Korea: 7 days for applicable statutory rights.
- Canada: 7 days for applicable statutory rights.
- Singapore: 5 days for applicable statutory rights.
In the European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content may not apply when the content has begun to be downloaded, streamed, or used after the consumer has given express consent in accordance with applicable law. Paddle’s policy contains full details for each jurisdiction.
4. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
You can cancel a subscription to avoid future charges through the buyer portal, using the link Manage subscription in your confirmation email, or by requesting cancellation from Paddle. To request a refund or exercise a statutory right, use the link View receipt or Manage subscription in your confirmation email, the support link on your receipt, or the Request refund at paddle.net.
If the request is eligible, Paddle will process the refund, where possible, using the same payment method and within 14 days of approval. Paddle’s records verify the transaction and the timeframe, but do not replace statutory rights.
Processing
If approved, Paddle will process the refund to the same payment method where possible. The time it takes for the credit to appear depends on the bank or payment provider.
Help
Refund requests and decisions are handled by Paddle. RuleX product support may help identify the transaction, but does not replace Paddle’s buyer support channel.
5. Technical or Product Defects
If you experience persistent technical problems or a material defect that prevents access to the described features or benefits, first contact RuleX support to try to resolve the issue. If it is not resolved, contact Paddle support and provide details of the issue and, if available, RuleX’s response. Where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
6. Add-ons and One-Time Payments
Add-ons linked to a subscription expire when the subscription ends, unless otherwise indicated. Eligibility for add-ons and one-time transactions follows the same criteria as the primary transaction, unless local law provides otherwise. Items delivered and fully accessible immediately may not be refundable once delivered, except where required by law.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We recommend contacting Paddle before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider. If a reversal is initiated, access to the product may be temporarily suspended while the case is reviewed. This does not affect statutory rights to dispute a charge under card network or consumer protection rules.
8. Discretionary refunds
Paddle may, at its sole discretion, grant a refund if the request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction date. Submitting a request within that timeframe does not guarantee a refund. Paddle reviews requests on a case-by-case basis and may consider the nature of the product, the reason, its use or consumption, and the applicable terms; it may approve a full or partial refund, or reject the request. A discretionary refund is voluntary and does not create an obligation with respect to similar future requests.
9. Changes and governing law
Paddle may update its policy. The version in effect on the transaction date governs that transaction. This policy is subject to the applicable law, claims, and dispute rules in the Paddle Buyer Terms.
This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions of Use of RuleX. For personal data matters, see the Data Processing Policy.
