Terms and Conditions of Use

1. Identification and International Scope

RuleX is operated by BESIMPLER S.A.S., a commercial company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Colombia, with its principal place of business in Bogotá, D.C., Colombia. The legal contact channel is contact@besimpler.org.

RuleX may be offered to users in different countries, but it has no separate legal personality, branch, establishment, or local entity in those countries. The user contracts with BESIMPLER S.A.S. from Colombia. The country selected in the account determines only the product’s territorial configuration—for example, currency, price, language, sources, and available capabilities—and does not change the identity of the contracting party.

This choice of law and entity is not intended to exclude nonwaivable rights or consumer protection, personal data, or other mandatory rules that may apply in the user’s country.

2. Service Purpose

RuleX is a SaaS service that brings together research, analysis, drafting, matter management, documents, projects, and other assisted legal-work tools. The legal scope and territorial integrations depend on the country listed in RuleX. A feature available in Colombia is not considered available in another country unless the product states that it is available there.

3. Account and Authorized Use

• Users must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and protect their credentials.
• Users may not use RuleX for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities, to violate third-party rights, or to circumvent security, subscription, or usage limits.
• Before uploading data about clients, employees, counterparties, or other third parties, users must have the applicable authorization, instructions, or legal basis.
• Users must review AI-generated content, sources, dates, and calculations before signing or filing it, sending it, or making decisions based on it.
• Registration constitutes acceptance of these terms and the Personal Data Processing and Privacy Policy. A separate checkbox is not required to create an account, without prejudice to any additional mechanisms required by applicable law.

4. Plans, Prices, Currency, and Payments

Before initiating a payment, RuleX displays the plan, duration, currency, price, and activation terms applicable to the account’s country. The following table reflects the amounts published by RuleX as of September 1, 2026; it is generated from the same pricing table used by the product. The final checkout screen, including any legally applicable taxes, charges, or terms, is the immediate reference for the transaction the user confirms.

The monthly plan is recurring when checkout identifies it as a subscription. The 6- and 12-month plans are one-time payments for the stated period when presented that way at checkout. The standard free trial is 7 calendar days when available for the country and plan; no charge is made during the trial under the terms announced, and any subsequent renewal or charge is disclosed before the payment method is confirmed.

Users may cancel a subscription using the available features. Refunds, cooling-off rights, cancellations, and returns are handled in accordance with the purchased offer and mandatory rights under applicable law; this clause does not exclude any nonwaivable consumer rights.

5. Intellectual Property and User Content

The software, code, interfaces, trademarks, designs, documentation, and components of RuleX belong to BESIMPLER S.A.S. or its licensors. Users retain any rights they hold in the texts, documents, and materials they upload. Generated results are provided for users’ work, but their availability, originality, accuracy, and fitness for a particular purpose are not guaranteed.

Users grant only the technical permissions necessary to host, process, reproduce, and display their content within RuleX and through the providers necessary to provide the service. Data processing is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability, Changes, and Termination

We may update, suspend, or withdraw a feature, provider, territorial integration, or plan when necessary for security, maintenance, legal changes, technical availability, or product development. We will endeavor to notify users of material changes and will not exercise this right to disregard payments already confirmed or mandatory rights.

We may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, fraud, a security risk, unlawful use, or nonpayment. Users may stop using the service and request deletion of their data in accordance with the privacy policy, subject to any legally required retention.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BESIMPLER S.A.S. is not liable for decisions made without professional review, user errors or omissions, third-party data uploaded without authorization, missed deadlines the user was responsible for monitoring, unavailability caused by third parties or force majeure, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that may not legally be excluded or limited.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are primarily interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Colombia, because BESIMPLER S.A.S. is domiciled in Colombia. Disputes may be brought before the courts or competent mechanisms under that law, without preventing consumers from accessing any venue, authority, or protection mechanism that is mandatory in their country.
